KAT for the Grieving Soul
This spring, Riverbird Clinic is offering a multi-week soul-opening, heart-expanding Ketamine-Assisted Therapy (KAT) cohort to support the softening of our habituated, and often unconscious, defense strategies, with the hope of making contact, and being with, our grief. It is through this intention of connecting to our grief that we may experience vitality, gratitude, and even joy.
The foundation of this group is based upon the well-respected Five Gates of Grief by Francis Weller, specifically starting with the first gate, which is, “Everything we love we will lose.” Led by Riverbird Clinic clinicians David Wright, PMHNP and Liz Strawbridge, MD along with interfaith minister Ashely Jansen, we will use our time together to slow down and find courage in being with our tender places, together. It is our wish that you may know we are not alone on this path of healing.

The Continuation Group invites us to support each other in deepening our embodiment of these shifts by joining together for one group ketamine & group integration session. May/June KAT Group
The May/June KAT Group is an 8-week series that provides a potent container for exploration and growth. It includes 3 group ketamine and 4 group integration sessions, individual integration sessions, and the possibility of self-guided ketamine sessions. Participants are asked to commit to the entire length of the group.
There are typically 4-6 individuals participants in the group and 2 Riverbird clinicians facilitating the group.
This group may be particularly helpful for individuals struggling with depression and/or anxiety; those interested in building community; those desiring the accountability, inspiration, reciprocity, diverse perspectives, interpersonal learning and cohesiveness that a safe group space has to offer.

This group costs approximately $3,000 - $3,500. The exact cost is variable depending on the number of self-guided sessions and individual integration sessions.
